Start your classroom on an educational journey.  Orion's Quest is an Internet delivered program for middle and high school students that seeks to reach the "Next Generation of Explorers". 

Students hone their skills in the STEM disciplines through active participation in authentic research being conducted by scientists and engineers at NASA and other world class research organizations.  

Orion’s Quest Programs are available to upper elementary, middle and high school students and their teachers at a nominal cost.

The $150 program fees include a one time, non-refundable, registration fee of $50.00 per teacher, and a program participation fee of $100.00 per school*.

The program participation fee includes required materials and equipment, curriculum and data recording material, certificates of participation and the assignment of a private password protected space on the Orion’s Quest website.

The length of a mission may vary depending on the mission focus. A typical mission will include a “pre-flight” phase, an “on-station” or research phase, and a wrap-up and evaluation phase.

*The “Program Participation Fee” is required each year and may vary from mission to mission as necessary for Orion’s Quest to address the specific mission requirements.
